This custom 10 foot walnut farmhouse dining table was built for a homeowner in Jacksonville, Florida. The goal of this project was to create a large, durable table that could comfortably seat family and guests while maintaining a clean, timeless farmhouse design.

For this table, we premium Boss walnut, known for its beauty and warm brown color. The tabletop was constructed using carefully joined boards to create a clean, consistent surface while maintaining the natural character of the wood. No farmhouse table is complete without breadboard ends. We used shop made wenge dowels to pin the breadboard ends to the table. For the finish we exclusively use Osmo products. For this table we used Osmo Polyx-x High Solid. For the sheen, the client chose gloss. 

The client wanted a farmhouse-style table with a big and chunky  trestle base, designed to provide both durability and a classic look. We used white oak for the base and finished it with Osmo Oil Stain in tobacco color, then sealed it with Osmo Polyx-Oil in satin

The final piece is a solid wood farmhouse dining table designed to be used daily while maintaining its appearance over time. The natural finish highlights the grain of the walnut and gives the table a warm, inviting look.
